I had been complaining for years about how hard it is to transition from the girl's section to women’s clothing and I felt like there needed to be something in between to bridge the gap. The final straw was when my daughter and I were shopping and couldn’t find any pink clothing; everything was overwhelmingly dark and uninspiring. The lack of bright, lively options left us disheartened and sparked the idea for Pink Surf.
